Iranian short 'The Fox' has been selected to compete at the 2018 edition of the Kinofilm Manchester International Short Film Festival in the UK.
Directed by Sadeq Javadi-Nikjeh, the flick is about a young and lively fox that is caught by a hunter when experiencing its first love.
The hunter puts a bell around the fox’s neck and returns it to the woods. The bell prevents the fox from hunting and living its normal life in the woods and it soon realizes that its only way to survive is to be tamed and go back to the hunter.
'The Fox' has so far attended various international events, including the 7th edition of the Cebu International Film Festival in the Philippines. It also won the Best Short Film award from the same event.
The Kinofilm Manchester International Short film Festival showcases the best short films and debut features from around the world. It gives new and emerging filmmakers the chance to have their work screened along with already famous and established short-filmmakers.
The latest edition of the festival is slated for November 26 to December 2, 2018.
